It is not only because of intricate network of cycling routes connecting the metropolitan centers, but also because of a number and variety attractions and sites available by bike. World history, wild nature, the cool and sun of a sea resort – all within a bike ride distance.
Gdańsk has the most developed system of cycling routes in Poland and boasts the the title of the country’s cycling capital. From April till October thousands of Gdańsk inhabitants use bicycles as their daily means of transport. Many Polish tourists visiting the city bring the bicycles as an indispensable element of their equipment. Unfortunately we do not have a municipal rent-a-bike system but many hotels offer bicycles for their guests.
